Now there are people out there who think all burgers are the same. Those people obviously have never had a good burger. And i pity them. They don't know what they're missing out on. Doesn't matter if it's a beef burger, a turkey burger, a veggie burger, or a tofu burger. Sometimes, a good burger is all it takes.
Then there are people like me, who know that a good burger is hard to come by because no two burgers are the same. Just like not all brown people look alike and I should not be going around hugging random people thinking they are someone else. Not that I've done that before or anything...
MOVING ON...
So yeah -- good burger joints, I feel, are coming harder to come by these days. Most joints I feel are hit or miss. You either hate it or you love it. And I've def been to my share of "miss"-es But one establishment that I could definitely see myself returning to in the future would be Mark, the slider bar on St. Mark's Place between 2nd & 3rd Aves, where sliders range from $2.75 - $5.75. And for $8 -- you can get their lunch special which includes 2 sliders, fries and a soda. Not a bad deal. And for people like me, they do have veggie sliders. They also have turkey sliders and pork sliders, for those who don't eat red meat.
